Fred VanVleet is a point guard for the Toronto Raptors. Before entering the NBA, VanVleet had a banner collegiate career at Wichita State. For the Shockers, he was a two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and three-time Associated Press honorable mention All-American. He was also a three-time All-MVC first-team player. Wichita State had one of the best stretches in program history during his tenure. They went to the Final Four when VanVleet was a freshman and had an undefeated regular season the following year. He left school as WSU's all-time leader in assists. VanVleet was undrafted in 2016, but found a home with the Raptors. He has spent time with in the NBA Development League with Raptors 905 as well.
